Individual Therapy offers a client several opportunities for change, growth, or recovery, allowing the possibility of greater understanding, increased perspective, a new pattern of behavior or a new emotional awareness to be gained. While working one-on-one with a therapist, individuals can begin the process of identifying and clarifying problems and concerns, towards experiencing a healthier, happier, and more satisfying life.
As one would expect, Individual Therapy can describe a wide spectrum of interactions, including discussion of current and past relationships, expectations, hopes, goals, impactful events, career or work questions, current stressors or clarity on what activities peace and comfort. Counselors work with each individual to develop a way forward, allowing the opportunity for clients to make desired changes.
