PERSONALITY ASSESSMENTS
Hope and Personality Assessments
A better understanding of one’s personality traits and the deeply-formed influence they have on our day-to-day activities can help individuals develop and grow. Knowing the dynamics of an individual’s personality can also assist counselors in developing appropriate treatment options.
Personality assessments can examine a wealth of information, including how an individual approaches a problem, how one makes decisions, how one prefers to refuel depleted emotional reserves, how one prefers to learn or process information, and more. Our personalities affect and influence our values, may provide insight and understanding on defense mechanisms, may provide a useful point of departure to explore relationship styles and issues, and may assist in the consideration of coping skills.
Personality assessments can be used for career planning and advancement, in relationship counseling (marriage counseling, pre-marital counseling, and family counseling), in conjunction with other therapeutic treatments, in explorations of ways to better work as a team, and much more.
