Within the privacy policy that follows, we have included important information on our confidentiality agreements and policies regarding our services.

On counseling and other psychological services

Services offered by our counselors are typically offered face-to-face. Email, phone calls, and informational documents, while sometimes helpful, do not constitute a Counselor-Client or other type of Therapeutic Relationship.

While Covenant Counseling and Education Center seeks to be of service to our community,we do not assume any liability for the use (or misuse) of information obtained at this site. Any links provided to other sites are provided as a courtesy, and we are not responsible for their content. We do not assume responsibility for the Counselor-Client relationship until a client comes to our office and meets with us.

On confidentiality

Covenant Counseling and Education Center will use provided email addresses to answer email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. As the Internet is a complex and public information system, email is not a confidential means of communication. We strive to treat all communications with professional care, but cannot be held responsible for the protection or privacy of information transferred through the Internet or any other network that you may utilize to contact us.

HOW IT WORKS

A good place to start is to find someone who may be a good fit. You can either look through our counselors’ profiles or call our office for help finding someone. Though beginning counseling is not always easy, we try to make it simple.
