Hope for Family Counseling
Each individual within a family affects the family, and any changes to individuals change the family. Likewise, changes within a family and its interactions affect all of the relationships between each individual. Families are interconnected.
Our Approach to Help and Healing
Family Counseling offers each member of the family the opportunity to explore the family’s functionality and relationships by addressing problems as a team instead of as an individual. Structured counseling offers members a safe, healthy environment to share feelings and thoughts, while providing the opportunity to understand issues from others’ perspective. Sessions often involve the entire family, but may include times with different parts of the family.
The staff at Covenant Counseling can offer families experience in working through a variety of Family Counseling issues, including communication, issues surrounding other medical or psychological issues, management of conflict, concerns related to separation and divorce, the challenges unique to blended families, and child transition adjustments.
