ANGER MANAGEMENT
Hope for Managing Anger
While anger itself can be a healthy emotion, and useful in the release of stress and the demonstration of feelings, the expression of anger in a destructive, aggressive way can lead to any number of relational, vocational, and internal problems. Likewise, suppressing anger unhealthily can lead to a long list of physical symptoms, including headaches, stress, depression, sleep disorders, and more.
Our Approach to Help and Healing
Anger management (or anger therapy) can give individuals healthy options for managing anger, including ways to recognize when anger and stress are rising, as well as providing resources to reduce the tendency to become angry.
Covenant Counseling provides individuals working through anger issues an opportunity not only to explore the causes of the anger but also strategies to reduce its unhealthy expression.
