Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and earned her Master’s in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida.

Heather works with women of all ages, including adolescents, and has professional interests in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, abuse, family of origin and relational and spiritual struggles. She enjoys walking alongside others to encounter God in seasons of pain and disappointment with the belief that redemption, healing and hope can be found in the difficulties and struggles of life. She has experience working with college students and also with couples on a variety of issues including communication, infidelity and parenting.

Heather has a particular passion for leading groups in the context of church communities and working with individuals and couples involved in vocational ministry. She offers daytime and evening appointments to accommodate a variety of schedules.

In 1991, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Samford University and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1993. Prior to attending seminary, Heather lived in Charlotte, North Carolina for 15 years where she held a variety of professional positions in both the corporate and non-profit arenas.
