THE REVIVE PROGRAM
THE REVIVE PROGRAM
Hope and the ReVive Program
The ReVive Program of Covenant Counseling is a Christ-centered, team approach providing support and guidance for adolescents, adults, and families who are affected by disordered eating and its related concerns.
With the goal of helping each individual who has an eating disorder develop lasting freedom and better coping mechanisms for recovery, the ReVive Program also recognizes the importance of supporting and educating the entire family.
Our Approach to Help and Healing
The core of the ReVive Program is a team of faithful, caring and competent professionals, including both licensed counselors and a registered dietitian. Usually in concert with a physician, this collaborative effort provides an interdisciplinary approach, allowing for the most effective treatment for eating disorders in males and females.
Typically, the individual with the disorder will meet regularly with one counselor, while also meeting with a dietitian to monitor nutritional needs. As eating disorders affect entire families, members of the family often will meet regularly with another counselor. Each member of the team all have specialized training and experience, to meet the unique needs of each individual and the family. This approach offers the best opportunity to treat this life-threatening disease.
The ReVive Program offers a safe, loving, and confidential environment to face the significant and difficult challenges that persist with disordered eating and food addictions. Each member of the team understands the impact that these challenges have on individuals as well as their families, and welcomes the privilege of coming alongside each person affected in each situation.
The central hope of the ReVive Program is that individuals and families alike, as they engage the process of recovery, will find lasting freedom from the devastating reach of the eating disorder.
