NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
Hope and Nutritional Counseling
Food is the fuel of the human body and mind, allowing us to grow and thrive. In today’s fast-paced society and with busy schedules, increased work hours, and commute challenges, growing numbers of individuals and families turn to fast food and processed food for their nutrition. As this trend grows, we increasingly see its effects, including increased blood pressure, heart issues, high cholesterol, diabetes, nutrition affecting our mood, and reduced immune system functioning.
For others, consultation with a nutritionist can provide the necessary information to optimize athletic performance, or simply to learn better options available to plan family meals.
Our Approach to Help and Healing
Nutritional counseling broadly describes engagement with a nutritionist to provide individuals and families information and tools needed to begin practicing healthy eating habits. Nutrition and diet counseling includes sessions with a registered dietitian to assess an individual’s particular needs and hopes. From that initial assessment, the dietician and client can then discuss eating patterns, current food intake, and personalized methods to begin a more healthy way of eating.
Our Licensed Dietitian works with each person to help him or her reach their goals for a more healthy life.
